MIT Steals Caltech's Cannon

Thursday, April 6, 2006
Keywords: none

Well, it's made its way to Slashdot now: MIT stole Caltech's cannon (which is locked to the ground) early last week on the 20th anniversary of Harvey Mudd College's theft the same cannon. And where was HMC in all this? Throwing e-mails around mailing lists asking if anyone knew what happened to it:

Did anyone steal the Caltech cannon Monday night/Tuesday morning? They called and said it was stolen and were hoping it was here.

Chris Sundberg
Associate Dean of Students

Yea, HMC is pathetic; its hacking geekiness has long been in erosion.
